Showcasing Trevor Lawrence’s best plays from their 25-20 victory over the Buffalo Bills.

The Jacksonville Jaguars made a big statement with their win over the Buffalo Bills in London. The back to back wins in London have brought the Jaguars to a record of 3-2 heading into a big divisional matchup with the Colts next Sunday.

Trevor Lawrence also made a statement that he’s amongst the best quarterbacks in football in this game. Lawrence threw for 315 yards and one touchdown in the game and delivered many high level throws where he showcased his special arm talent.

I have picked out seven of Lawrence’s best plays from this game to break down using all-22 coaches film.

1st Quarter 6:59 left 3rd down & goal at BUF 6

Lawrence delivers a strike as he’s getting hit to Zay Jones in the back of the end zone for a touchdown. He puts this pass high where only Jones can make a play on it and Jones makes an impressive play to make the catch and come down with his feet inbounds.

1st Quarter 4:19 left 3rd down & 5 at JAX 35

Lawrence’s arm strength is on display on this throw as he delivers this throw from the far hash to the opposite sideline to Christian Kirk for 20 yards on a third down and five.

1st Quarter 3:15 left 2nd down & 10 at BUF 45

The ball placement and velocity on this second down throw to Calvin Ridley is apparent from the front angle. Leonard Floyd of the Bills is able to get a piece of this throw but not enough to disrupt the placement of the throw as he’s able to put enough velocity on it to get to Ridley.

3rd Quarter 5:40 left 3rd down & 7 at JAX 26

Lawrence makes another impressive cross field throw on this third down throw as he hits Ridley on a hitch from the far hash to the opposite sideline.

4th Quarter 13:05 left 1st down & 10 at JAX 7

One of Lawrence’s best attributes is his pocket presence which is on display on this play as he eludes Bills’ Jonathan Kingsley who wins quickly off of the edge, reset and deliver a strike to Ridley with great timing as he’s making his break for a 20 yard completion.

4th Quarter 11:00 left 3rd down & 5 at JAX 32

Lawrence’s ability to elude the rush is also on display here as he makes a phenomenal play here on third down to find Travis Etienne on the scramble drill after eluding a free rusher off the edge who jumped offsides.

4th Quarter 3:15 left 3rd down & 4 at JAX 31

This was Lawrence’s best throw of the day and one of the best throws any quarterback last week. On a big third down late in the game with the Jaguars needing a big play to prevent Josh Allen from getting the ball back Lawrence gets hit as he releases but still manages to drop this over the shoulder throw in the bucket to Ridley for 32 yards.
